The remasters of the two Xbox 360 Batmanvideo games, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, are now available in some regions in the newXbox One bundlenamed, Batman: Return to Arkham. The package is currently showing up in theAustralian Windows Storewith a functioning pre-order option ahead of its October 19th release in that region. Xbox One users in other parts of the globe should begin seeing it in their stores soon as well.

Return to Arkham package and the two individual games: Return to Arkham and experience two of the most critically acclaimed titles of the last generation – Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, with fully remastered and updated visuals. Batman: Return to Arkham includes the comprehensive versions of both games and includes all previously released additional content.
Batman: Arkham Asylumexposes players to a dark and atmospheric adventure that takes them into the depths of Arkham Asylum –Gotham City’s high security psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane. Use Batman’s legendary gadgetry, strike from the shadows, and confront The Joker and Gotham City’s most notorious super villains.
Batman: Arkham Citysends players soaring into Arkham City – a heavily fortified sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City. Batman Arkham City introduces a brand-new story that draws together an all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as new and enhanced gameplay features.

Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City were developed by Rocksteady Studios and were both praised by fans and critics alike for their original storylines, character moments, impressive fight mechanics, and overall representation of the world and characters from the Batman comic books and TV shows. The third game in the series, Batman: Arkham Origins, was a prequel to the first two and is not considered a proper entry in the series due to it being developed by WB Games Montréal.The fourth game, Batman: Arkham Knight, was released on Xbox One in 2015and saw the return of Rocksteady to the series. It has been officially declared as the final entry in the main Arkham series however a virtual reality version of the games, Batman: Arkham VR, is planned for a late 2016 release on Sony’s PlayStation VR.
