Microsoft Wallet, a new tap-to-pay app available on select Windows 10 phones, is set to launch sometime later this Summer.According to Microsoft, Microsoft Wallet is already available for “Windows Insiders (build 14360 and higher)—general availability later this summer,” and it’s likely to come out with theWindows 10 Anniversary Update.
Currently, only a handful of banks are available on the Microsoft Wallet tap-to-pay app, including Bank of America, BECU, First Tech Federal Credit Union, People’s United Bank, and the Virginia Credit Union. Chase, Fifth Third Bank, and US Bank are listed as “coming soon.”

Microsoft Wallet will be available onLumia 650,Lumia 950, andLumia 950 XL. The app will be available “anywhere you see the Contactless Symbol or Microsoft Wallet logo, including at popular stores, coffee shops, and restaurants.”
For the initial launch, Microsoft Wallet will only be available in the US and will support cards with Visa and Mastercard logos. Also, it will allow you to store your gift cards and loyalty cards as well.
