Disney has just announced yet another game forWindowsdevices, Disney Crossy Road. The announcement was made during a panel at this year’s Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco while an official trailer andwebsitelaunched immediately afterwards.

Disney Crossy Road will be, as you can probably guess, a Disney take on the Crossy Road mobile game, which itself is a reinterpretation of the classic Frogger video game. Disney Crossy Road appears to replace the chicken with Mickey Mouse though it’s entirely likely that other Disney characters will be playable, or at least cameo, as well.

Disney has been a strong supporter of Windows devices and has launched a variety of games onWindows phonesand PC in addition to the usual iOS and Android releases. Their games rarely, if ever, take advantage of Xbox Live integration (which is a shame) but they almost always share parity with their iOS and Android counterparts which is truly exceptional and also highly appreciated by Windows phone owners.

No specific release date has been given for Disney Crossy Road. Stay tuned for more.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
