Microsoft has announced today during itsBuild 2016developer conference the general availability of Office 365 connectors. If you don’t know what this is about, Office connectors are a set of app APIs that allow Office 365 users to bring in information and updates from Microsoft services and third-party sources such as RSS, Twitter, GitHub, SalesForce, MailChimp or Trello. It’s a really powerful feature that enables Office 365 to turn into a a platform or hub where users can track all their notifications from outside sources without ever having to leave Office 365.

Office 365 Connectors were first introduced inpreview back in November 2015before being released for First Release Office customers in March. Today, all Office 365 customers can try the feature, and Microsoft will work to bring more partners and more “Connectors” to customers in the future.

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
