Microsoft has a real commitment to helping their customers get healthier. The obvious example is the Band 2 and Microsoft Health, which can track and prompt users to get and stay active, get better sleep, and generally achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. A few days ago,Microsoft introduced a new group chat via Skypeto help you get connected with some fitness experts and contribute to a growing healthy community.
We’re teaming up with beauty and lifestyle vlogger Claire Marshall (you can watch her stuff here) to help put a stop to broken resolutions. We’ll introduce her (and you!) to nutrition expert Russ Crandall, and fitness expert Carly Rowena, who will guide you and share with all of you the knowledge, motivation and activities you need to make your health resolution a breeze.
But knowing all the information isn’t good enough; we want to see Claire use her tips in real life. Each coach will set two challenges for Claire and we’ll be bringing you videos so that you can watch and join in on the ride (or jog, or swim, or whatever other activity you’re into!). Whether Claire is flying high on the trapeze at a circus class, gliding around the ballroom floor during tango lessons or mixing and matching to make the perfect smoothie recipe, each challenge will provide essential tips for making 2016 your best year yet.
If you want to join in, just add GetSkypFit on Skype, and you can interact with those experts and other people interested in getting and staying fit. You’ll even get entered into a contest to visit Los Angeles and enjoy a day of fitness under the bright Southern California sky.
Join up by follow #SkypeFit onTwitterandInstagram, visit Skype’sFacebook, and start working out. Let us know in the comments if you learn anything new.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
