Werecently discoveredthe beginnings of what appears to be the new Start Screen / Continuum mode in the most recent Windows Technical Preview. The Start Screen, being very early in development is very buggy and broken, however we understand that some of you wish to try it out.

Well, we’ve got you a simple guide for enabling the new Start Screen. We must warn you, it’s super broken. We don’t advise you use it on anything right now, especially tablets as the Start Screen doesn’t even hit full screen mode yet.

If you wish to enable it, follow these steps:

Once that’s done, you’ll have access to the new Start Screen in Windows 10. We must warn you, the Start Screen enable-able in 9879 isn’t anything like what’s seen in the photo above. To return to the previous Start experience, just change the value back to 0.
