As phones get bigger in size, so does the hassle of reaching the top of your screen with one hand. Sure, we can do it, but it takes extra effort and often times we end up using our other hand to bring down the notifications pane. But what if you could do everything with just one hand?
Windows 10 Mobile comes with a cool one-handed mode for those of you who own a Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL and find it hard to maneuver around the screen with one hand. All you have to do is tap and hold the Start button, which will cause your screen to slide down about half-ways so you can easily reach the top of the screen without fumbling with your phone in one hand.
This feature was originally intended for devices that had screen sizes larger than five inches, but Microsoft has made it available to all phones running Windows 10 Mobile. Once you activate one-handed mode, the top half of your screen turns black and you can use your thumb to scroll or interact with content that was previously at the very top of the screen.
Give it a try and see if you like it!
