What is Taskmaster?
The mainTaskmastershow was created by Alex Horne, originally as an Edinburgh Fringe show. UK comedy network Dave commissioned a TV version, bringing Greg Davies on board.
The show began on Dave in 2015, airing nine seasons before moving to Channel 4 in 2020. There have also been special editions such asChampion of ChampionsandNew Years Treat.
Throughout each series, a group of five celebrities (usually comedians) are assigned a series of absurd tasks to complete, with Davies handing out points based on their performance. The contestant with the most points becomes that series' winner.
