Microsoft is getting active in the X Games arena, in addition to, tossing their hat into theeSportsring with the most recent event being the launch of theHalo World Championship Tourat the upcoming X Games Aspen Invitational 2016. The Skype team doesn’t want to be left out, and so they’ve created a Skype account that will let you interact with some of the most famous X Games athletes at the event.
To get involved, you’ll need to add XGAMES2016 as a Skype contact. Microsoft was nice enough to provide instructions:
- Add XGAMES2016 as a contact2. If you don’t already have Skype, download it here3. Start a new Skype conversation with XGAMES2016 and get closer to the athletes
Once you’re on board, you’ll be able to interact withSage Kotsenburg,Gus Kenworthy,Maggie Voisin,Tom Wallisch, andMaddie Bowman. If you’re into the X Games scene, you’ll likely know those names.
Follow Skype onTwitter,Instagram,Facebook, and #SkypeXGames to keep up with things. We’ll be sure to let you know if anything exciting happens–at least where Microsoft is concerned.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
