One of Microsoft’s more surprising initiatives lately revolves around the open source Linux community. The company has been making a concerted effort to expand their cross-platform support not only for productivity works on iOS and Android but alsothose who want to run virtual Linux machines in the cloud.
Today, the Microsoft Mechanics team posted a video demonstrating Red Hat Linux running on Azure:
An exploration of how you can use the hyper-scale of Azure to run and manage Red Hat solutions in your IT environment. We’ll also go over pre-built Red Hat Enterprise Linux images in the Azure marketplace, integrated support to help you troubleshoot issues and get access to Red Hat resources. Also, how you can take your on-premises apps and run them on top of the Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure running on Azure.
