Windows 10 Mobilebuild 14926is definitely not a friendly build. Thousands of Insiders complained aboutSIM and PIN issuesthat prevented them from using their phones. Now, the Insiders who decided to take their chances and install the latest Windows 10 Mobile build are reporting they can’t install the update due to error 0x800703ed.

To start in a funny manner, we’d say it’s better to encounter error 0x800703ed when trying to install the build than to be able to get the update and then realize the terminal can’tdetect your SIM cardand the keyboard is unavailable.

There is also aworkaround availableto fix this issue: all you need to do is remove the SD card before starting the update and the build will install without any problems. However, if you do decide to install build 14926 on your Windows phone, keep in mind that most likely, you’ll encounter SIM card issues and you won’t be able to unlock your terminal.

Fortunately, there’s also a workaround available for the SIM card and PIN issues as well. You can perform ahard resetand this will solve the issue, but you should opt to use a back-up build in order to restore the content previously saved on your device.

In earnest, we recommend you to wait until Microsoft pushes a hotfix for these annoying issues detected on the latest Mobile build. Or you can simply wait even longer, until the tech giant releases a new build. Windows 10 Mobile build 14926 simply bringstoo many issuesfor the time being.
