Lenovo just announced the Slim 7i Pro X and Slim 7 Pro X laptops. The devices are largely the same as each other, except for the fact that the Slim 7i Pro X has a 12th Gen Intel processor while the Slim 7 Pro X runs on an AMD Ryzen 6000-series chip.

In addition to running on the latest CPUs, the new Lenovo laptops feature up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 laptop graphics. Both also feature Lenovo X Power, which provides tuning for different usage scenarios.

Despite their relatively high specs, the Slim 7i Pro X and Slim 7 Pro X weigh less than 1.6 kg (3.5 lbs) and are as thin as 15.9 mm (0.63 in).

The displays on the Slim 7i Pro X and Slim 7 Pro X are 14.5 inches and have a resolution of 3K. They also have a refresh rate of 120Hz and reduce eye fatigue by limiting blue light. Those specs are enough to make them Lenovo PureSight displays. Lenovo PureSight is similar to Apple’s Retina or Microsoft’s PixelSense in that it outlines minimum requirements for resolution and other elements of screens.

Note that in some markets, the new laptops from Lenovo will be marketed as Yoga Slim devices.
