As we have reported on over the past few weeks, Xbox has hadseveral sign in related issues.As a result, many Xbox fans have been wondering if they would get compensation for the downtime.

While signing on to Reddit from “crappy hotel internet,” Major Nelson respondedto a post from Redditor BIGBLOCK22sasking about such compensation.

I’ve taken some of the more thoughtful comments and shared them with a few folks on the Xbox team to make them aware of this request. That’s about all I’ve got right now – but when I am back in the office I am going to stop by and chat 1:1 with some folks about this as well.

The comment from Major Nelson suggests that if all goes right at the office, some compensation may be on the way to Xbox Live users affected by the outages. Even if not, it is still nice to know that Major Nelson cares enough about Xbox Gamers to respond to their posts on social media.
