Mass Effect: Andromeda, the next installment in the popular sci-fi action role-playing franchise finally has a release date after being delayed last year. Developer Bioware has announced today that the game will launch on March 21 in North America and then on March 23 in Europe.

“Mass Effect: Andromeda is our most ambitious Mass Effect game to date. We’re telling completely new stories, creating new characters, new planets, new species, and introducing new gameplay systems,” said the company in theblog postannouncing the news. The new episode will be the first to launch on next-gen consoles, and the game will alsouse EA DICE’s latest Frostbite enginewhich we previously saw on Battlefield 1, FIFA 17 and Mirror’s Edge Catalyst last year.
