In the past, teachers and students runningWindows 10Education Edition were excluded from the Windows Insider program. Windows 10 Education is a version of Microsoft’s newest OS that’s available exclusively through the company’s volume licensing program and is also available to students in schools that participate in Microsoft’s DreamSpark program.

Along with the newWindows 10 Insiders build 14267announcement,Microsoft also provided the news about Windows 10 Education:

If you’re a student or teacher running the Windows 10 Education Edition – you can now go to Settings > Update & Security > Advanced options and opt-in your PC to receive Insider Preview builds. By joining the Windows Insider Program and running Windows 10 Education – you can help to shape the future of Windows for education customers. You can be a part of the ongoing process of improving the features and functionality of Windows that has helped us build the best Windows yet. Windows 10 Education is available throughMicrosoft Volume Licensing. Individual students in schools participating in theDreamSparkprogram or eligible for theWindows student use benefitmay also be able to download Windows 10 Education as a benefit of their school’s partnership with Microsoft.

We’re always happy to see Microsoft expands its preview programs to more users. The more users, the more feedback and the better Windows 10 can become. Of course, schools will likely impose their own limits on who can test the new OS, but, at least, Microsoft has made the option available.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
