Just recently, we learned that Microsoft plans to retire Windows Live Messenger in favor of Skype. Microsoft officially announced that Windows Live Messenger and Skype will become one back in November of last year and encouraged all Messenger users to update to the latest version of Skype to begin the transition.

In an email to Windows Live Messenger users, Microsoft confirms that the service will retire on March 15th (except for China, which will continue to see the service for a little while until Microsoft announces further). Microsoft continues to urge Messenger users tomake the move to Skypeby downloading the latest version of Skype for their instant messaging and video chat needs.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
