This July, Microsoft made an announcement that made lots of fans glad: Dynamics 365 will merge their CRM and ERP cloud storage offers into one. The result will be on single could service that will embed apps specifically targeted for each essential business process, such as Customer Service, Sales, Finance and so on.

The Dynamics 365 apps are conceived to offer a familiar and at the same time modern experience that will include a better workflow, a built-in intelligence and insights. The company will also be using a consistent platform for the applications and a common data model, ensuring a useful extensibility and a handy interoperability.

Moreover, Microsoft seems to have big plans, since they intend to release two versions of the Dynamics 365: an Enterprise and a Business one. Later this year we are supposed to receive the Enterprise one, created by the coming together ofDynamics CRMand Dynamics AX. On the other hand, the Business version will be based on the Project Madeira, which can currently be previewed by the public.

Encore Business Solutions, which is a company partnering with Microsoft, had initially published a blog post revealing some details about the licenses and the pricing for Dynamics 365. Sadly, they removed the post afterwards, but this doesn’t mean it is off the Internet.

According to the initial post, the Business Edition will be priced at $50/month/user. This cost will include PowerApps, Marketing, Financials and Sales tools. There is also a Team Member Business Edition that will cost $5/month/user. Meanwhile, it seems that the Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition will be priced somewhere between $40 and $190/month/user, depending on what module the customer chooses.

Apparently, according to the initial post, there is a Plan 1 for the Enterprise Edition, which will cost $115/user/month, a Plan 2 which includes Operations and rises the price to $210/user/month, while the Team Members Enterprise Edition, designed for light users, will cost $10/user/month. Later this year we will be receiving the official prices right from Microsoft.
