If you recall, last yearMicrosoft released the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter that would let you mirror your tablet or smartphone display on a HDTV. The device was only made available in the US and Canada, but now Microsoft is expanding its regional availability.
The adapter, which used Intel Wireless Display technology, or WiDi for short, works in a similar way to Google’s Chromecast. It features a HDMI input in one end, and a USB plug in the other for power. It’s a plug-n-play device so no advanced setup is required, although you can download itsofficial Windows 8.1 appfor more control over its settings. You can use it to project whatever is on your tablet or smartphones screen wirelessly, it makes for a great movie watching or gaming experience, or even for business use with PowerPoint presentations.
The Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter is now available in 25 new markets across Europe in addition to South Africa. Come March, the device will be available in even more regions including Asia and Australia. Head over to the link below to get your hands on one.

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).
For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
