Yesterday, Corporate Vice President for the Office team Kirk Koenigsbauer was on stage of Microsoft’s annualWorldwide Partner Conferenceto talk aboutOffice 365momentum. Back at Build 2016, the company announced that there were1.2 billion users around the worldand that Office 365 was also gaining more than 50,000 new customers per month among small businesses, but the execrevealed yesterdaythat “Office 365 is now empowering over 70 million people each month in companies of all sizes.”
While gaining such a big customer base is an important milestone for Microsoft, Koenigsbauer also announced yesterday that the Redmond giant will be the first company to be recognized by AIG for security and compliance strength. The multinational insurance corporation will now include a Microsoft Cloud endorsement with its CyberEdge insurance policy, which will “allow new or renewing AIG CyberEdge customers using Microsoft Azure, Office 365 or Dynamics 365 to have access to expanded business interruption coverage as part of their policy terms.”
Tracie Grella, global head of Cyber Risk at AIG shared:
We’ve worked closely with Microsoft to understand the security and compliance capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud, and we’re excited to offer this unique endorsement to our mutual clients.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
