On Monday, 14,000 Microsoft employees from over 72 countries around the worldopened up the first dayof the annual //oneweek festivities, including a Hackathon.

Complete with thunder sticks, capes, and sunglasses, the employees all came together at the event to see and demo the latest Microsoft products, ask questions about what’s coming in the next fiscal year, volunteer in their communities and celebrate their accomplishments.  In anofficial post about the event, Microsoft notes that there are more than 3,200 registered Hackathon projects, and employees hack everything Microsoft, from bots, to HoloLens, and more. It is also noted that the employees focus on cognitive services, accessibility, and  inclusive design while at the event.

This is the third annual //oneweek gathering. The event first started back in 2013 , and is centered on helping Microsoft employees become aware of the company’s ambitions.  We would love to hear your thoughts on //oneweek, so be sure to drop us a comment below!

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
