While Microsoft’sXbox Fanfest at Gamescom 2016won’t kick off until tomorrow August 17, the Xbox team has premiered today new gameplay trailers forGears of War 4andRecore. The two Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive titles are set to be released in the coming weeks and they definitely look to be strong titles that could help the brand newXbox One Sget some momentum before the holiday season.
The following 10-minute-long Gears of War 4 trailer has been captured on a Windows 10 PC in 4K resolution with an NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPU. Director of Community at The Coalition Adam Fletcher also explained in a blog post onXbox Wirethat the game is “powered by a completely new rendering engine, with the Windows 10 version supporting comprehensive video settings, increased texture resolutions, dynamic resolution support up to 4K and more.”
Here is the official trailer description:
In this short gameplay demo through the “Rescue” chapter of Gears of War 4, our heroes JD, Kait and Del are chasing an unknown enemy through an old fort. Along the way, they encounter two fierce Swarm enemies – Drones and Pouncers – for the first time.
The game looks really great in glorious 4K, and if you’re looking forward to playing it on your PC later in the fall, then Fletcher has also shared the game’s minimum, recommended, and ideal specs:
Recore looks like an entirely different beast, and the futuristic action-adventure game follows the story of one of the last remaining humans on a planet controlled by robots out to kill you. Here is the official description of the gameplay trailer:
Join Joule Adams as she leads a group of Corebot companions on an adventure to save mankind in the dangerous world of Far Eden. From the legendary creator Keiji Inafune, and the makers of Metroid Prime comes ReCore, an action-adventure crafted for a new generation.
Recore will be available on September 13 on both the Xbox One and Windows 10 while Gears of War will be released on October 11 on both platforms. Let us know what you think of these new trailers in the comments below.
