Microsoft is targeting creative individuals on two fronts with its‘Do More’ YouTube and television adsas well as itsDesigned on Surface online campaigns. Microsoft’s new marketing intent seems to be spearheaded by the idea that the company has both the software and hardware solutions to empower individuals to not only ‘Do More’ but using the new Surface 2-in-1’s to also tap into their more creative ambitions.

Over the past couple of months,we’ve been covering a series of artistswho have done rather impressive work with Surface Pro devices, and that trend continues withthe campaign’s latest artist, Bao.

Bao found success just a little over a year ago as Hong Kong artist showcasing her work at various festivals and providing private commissions. Bao’s particular artistic specialty involves creating rather intricate and multi-layered street murals, where she uses a combination of Adobe’s Photoshop software with the Surface Pro 4 to help visualize her work to scale.

The mobility of the Surface Pro 4, coupled with a few features such as pen sensitivity and the hybrid’s rear-facing camera, allows Bao to quickly scout potential canvases out in the wild and take quick notes and scribble quick ideas on the spot.

With Surface, I can use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to work and create anywhere. I don’t have to carry all my other tools -Bao

As work and the careers of individuals continue to commingle the traditional notions of mobility and power, 2-in-1 devices, specifically the Surface Pro 4, are proving to be the best embodiment of the creative professional.
