Microsoft talked recently about gaining more of a developer community for Internet Explorer, and now, with version 12, the company is doing just that. Both Firefox and Chrome have implemented developer versions in the past as a way to test the cutting edge ideas that could find their way into future stable releases. Now the Redmond company is doing the same.
“Today we’re excited to announce the release of the Internet Explorer Developer Channel, a fully functioning browser designed to give Web developers and early adopters a sneak peek at the Web platform features we’re working on”, says Jason Weber of the IE team.
This version of the browser will be available for both Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 SP1. It will be capable of running side-by-side with version 11 of the web browser. The company went on the spell out what it plans to offer with this new version.
You can find both versions by following the download links below. As always, with releases such as this, do not expect complete stability or rely on it as your primary software.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
