Microsoft’s ‘Made by You’ series starts with addressing scaling in Windows 10

While many Windows Insider lay in dormant wait for another Fast or Slow Ring build of the latest Windows 10 operating system, the Insider Hub is being primed for future content. As of January 6th, the most recent update located in the Insider Hub describes a series called ‘Made by You’ that will prominently showcase issues the community votes to the top.

The idea behind the series seems similar to the Windows Blog, where Windows developers and engineers take the time to address the Insider community’s feedback regarding features or issues with Windows 10 in great length and detail.

Made by you highlights how we are addressing feedback from Windows Insiders, how we are investigating this feedback to shape Windows, and why we have made these improvements.”

The first post in the series is in regards to thenotoriously bad job Windows does with scalingon Hi-Res displays.

Back during late Spring and early Summer of 2015, when the Windows 10 Insider program was in full swing, Windows teams used the newly renamed Insider Hub prominently. The Insider Hub grew and swelled with conversations to and from the development and engineer teams within the Windows division.

As time went on,the evolution of the Insider Hub matured, where Windows Insiders were no longer inundated with borderline malware-like pop-ups for feedback and in-your-face placement of the Hub throughout various areas of the OS. Rather, over time, the Insider Hub became a subtle place continuingly dedicated Insiders gathered after the public launch of Windows 10. The Insider Hub went from a mainstay to an optional download and the information it contained went from feverish and rabid bug squashing to casual conversations about upcoming releases and notes.

The ‘Made by you’ series may be an effort to reignite the fandom previous Windows 10 Insider builds garnered early on, as well asprep Insiders for the promised rush of buildsthis year.
