As we’re nearing the release of theWindows 10 Anniversary Updateon August 2, Microsoft has been iterating on the Xbox One system software. Several new builds have rolled out to members of theXbox One Preview programover the last few weeks. Additionally, it looks that developers are also getting ready for the Anniversary Update as some Xbox One apps are now getting the UWP treatment. According to recent tweets from Microsoft’s Brad Rosetti, Xbox One preview members can now try the Hulu and Netflix UWP apps on their Xbox One:

If you have already installed the Hulu and Netflix apps on you’re Xbox One running the latest preview build, both apps should automatically update to the UWP version. Earlier today, we reported thatthe Xbox One Dailymotion app received a similar treatment, as well asReddit client Baconit, and it’s great to see that the Windows 10 Store and the Xbox Store are finally merging. If you’re a lucky member of the Xbox One Preview program, give these apps a try and please let us know what you think of them in the comments!
