Twitter just released the UWP version of its popular video-sharing service Vine. Vine for Windows 10 is available in the Store for free, and all users of this app can download it and start sharing their clips right now.
Unfortunately,Vinefor Windows 10 is currently only available on Windows 10 PCs; Windows 10 Mobile users will have to wait a little more until the app arrives on their platform. However, as Vine looks better and is definitely more functional on mobile devices, we shouldn’t wait too long for it to be released.
“Vine is the entertainment network where the world’s stories are captured, created and remixed. On Vine, there’s never a dull moment. Watch incredible moments in Channels like Dance, Comedy and Sports. Find out about trends and viral Vines before they blow up. Follow your favorite creators and watch their stories unfold.”
The app contains all the standard features of the service like the ability to upload Vines, search for other user’s uploads, see notifications, create collections, and more. It also has some Windows 10-specific specific features like Live Tiles support, and adaptive user interface. For now, the app works great as we didn’t notice any bugs while trying the app on our Windows 10 PC.
Vine is one of the most popular video-sharing services in the world with millions of monthly users, and its presence in the Windows Store will definitely be beneficial for Microsoft. On the other hand, as the popularity of the Windows Store is on the rise, Microsoft’s platform can also bring some fresh blood to Twitter’s service as well.
If you want to try Vine on your Windows 10 PC, you can download it for free fromthe Windows Store. As for the Windows 10 Mobile version, we’re sure it will become available as soon as the development team fixes all the flaws.
