Some attentive readers have spotted binary code hidden inside the promotional image of today’sOctober 6th event announcement.Warning: the following spoils the code.Naturally, it didn’t take long for the massive Gravemind that is the internet todecode the hidden message. This message reveals itself to be none other than a URL toward aWindows blog postcongratulating keyboard detectives for completing the excruciatingly, painstakingly, backbreaking journey of a challenge, calling it the #ninjacat challenge. It also goes on to encourage users to spread the word about the challenge. This seems like something of a cute and fun marketing tactic to get people interested in the upcoming event.I personally think it would’ve been better if it decoded to a URL for the online live-stream.

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
