Microsoft quietly today launched their Outlook.com Premium service, but only in the US. The move comes after the premium service wasan invite-only private testback a year ago, and as it mostrecently moved to a public previewback in October of 2016 (via ZDNet.)
As part of Outlook.com Premium, for the current price of $19.95 per year (regularly $49.99,) users will have a personalized email with a custom domain plus an ad-free experience. To sign up, interested users can Click (or tap) the blueSign in to Get Started buttonon the Outlook.com Premium Offer page. Here is howMicrosoft describesthe service:
Outlook.com Premium is an enhanced email service which syncs your own personalized email domain (such as Jane@Doe_Family.com) with your Outlook.com mailbox (as well as hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com), and removes banner ads from your Outlook.com mailbox. Your Outlook.com Premium mailbox automatically syncs with your existing Outlook.com mailbox, so all your emails can be viewed in the same mailbox – regardless of whether they are sent to your personalized email address or to your Outlook.com email address.
You can also invite up to four other people to join your personalized email domain so you can easily share calendars, contacts, and documents. Sharing is setup automatically between the people you invite to join your personalized Outlook.com Premium subscription.
According to Microsoft, subscriptions to Outlook.com Premium will automatically renew annually at the then current price. If you create a new personalized email domain during the registration process, your personalized email domain will be free for the first year. At the end of your first year, there will be an additional charge per year for your personalized email domain. There is still no word on when the service will expand to outside the US.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
