Ever wondered what is happening over at Microsoft’s Surface Lab? Well, now you might have the chance to explore it. ExpertZone released a new video showcasing the Surface Lab featuring Microsoft’s Panos Panay and Ben Rudolph.

The video is roughly an hour long, very detailed and very interesting. It shows some prototype designing techniques and the backstory of many Surface-branded products we’ve come to love.

Panos Panay also mentioned some “confidential stuff,” that they didn’t want to talk about. Those were probably some unreleased prototypes of upcoming Microsoft products and it isn’t surprising that the Surface team didn’t want to ruin the surprise for us. He also mentioned a “hinge that is being prototyped right now,” which means that the Surface Book could come with an improved hinge, which could fix someissueswith the previous one or we may see this new hinge embedded in future devices.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
