Microsoftchanged their minds againregarding Messaging Everywhere on Windows 10. For the last few months Insiders could send SMS text messages from their PCs using the Messaging app, with Messaging syncing across a variety of devices. It was a great feature and generally a smooth experience. Now, that feature won’t be shipped with the Anniversary Update this Summer. Instead, Microsoft will deliver an experience through the Skype app.
This decision led to backlash on social media and around the web. It’s important to point out that people were also upset when Microsoft separated Skype Messaging and SMS messaging within Windows 10, even though they were previously together through the Messaging app, not the Skype UWP.
Needless to say, this is the most divisive story that’s come out this week so far and it’s perfect for this week’s poll.
Take Our PollLet us know in the poll how you would like the Messaging Everywhere experience to work across devices and share in the comments below how you would make it work.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
