Quantum Break, Microsoft’s newest Xbox One exclusive title is less than a week old, but it has already broken records. Aaron Greenberg, Xbox’s head of marketing, has just said that Quantum Break is now the best selling new Microsoft Studios IP this generation, as well as the best-selling boxed game in the UK this week.

Overall, the milestone also means that in one week Quantum Break has outsold other IP titles from this Xbox generation, such as Sunset Overdrive and Crytek’s Ryse.
ChartTrack, meanwhile, is the group behind the statistics for the best-selling boxed game in the UK statistic. Tracking only Xbox One physical disc based sales for the title, the group claims that Quantum beat out Codemasters Dirty Rally for the top spot in the UK.
Wepreviously reviewed Quantum Break, and we found it to be a masterfully presented game that achieved exactly what it set out to do—marry the mediums of live action film and video games.
