Microsoft has issued a warning for everyone to be on the lookout of a malicious email, claiming to be from the Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit, only to be malware instead. The email contains an attachment that users are enticed to run to “validate their email account.”

“Due to a new vulnerability which is exploited by hackers to steal your online details. Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit in 2013 has hereby developed a new security measure. All users of the Internet and Microsoft products are hereby required to validate there email account information irregardless of their Internet service provider or Host company,” the email reads. You can read the full email below. Antivirus firm Sophos has labeled this attack as Troj/Agent-AANA Trojan horse. If you have received this email, simply delete it and do not open the attachment.

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
