Settings app gets visual improvements in Windows 10 Creators Update

Ever since Microsoft introduced the Settings app withWindows 10, it has been revamped with every major update for the system. After all those updates from the previous two major updates, it looks like the Settings app will also be changed when the next update for Windows 10,the Creators Update, sees the daylight.

The most recentCreators Update build 15002for Windows 10 brings a handful of improvements and changes to the Settings app.

We’ll start off with some visual improvements and functionality changes. Every Settings page now contains additional information, with links to Support, the Feedback Hub, and any other available related-settings. This will make it easier for users to report possible bugs regarding a certain setting directly from the app.

Microsoft also decided to move app-related settings out of the System page and create a new category called Apps. The reason for this is because “System Settings list was getting quite long”. So, if you want to change some apps settings, you’ll have to go to a different place from now on.

Speaking of merged settings pages, Microsoft also combined the Bluetooth and Connected devices pages to form the new section called “Bluetooth & other devices”. From this section users will be able to manage their devices and peripherals, including Bluetooth accessories, wireless docks, Xbox Wireless controllers, media devices, and more. Additionally, users are now able to disconnect and reconnect their Bluetooth audio devices directly from the Settings page.

Besides these visual and functionality changes, the new build also brings new Display Settings options, the Lower blue light option, the improved theme management, and more. Each of these improvements is now available to Windows Insiders only and will be released to everyone else along with the Creators Update this spring.
