Re-releases of video games on theXbox Onebeing remarketed as special editions isn’t something new but today sees the arrival of an almost ridiculous number of titles getting a push with new content and a cool new title. Funnily enough, there are no ‘Ultimate Editions’ (the usual branding for re-releases) in this batch of games. Instead Microsoft and the publishers have been a bit more… creative.

First up, we have #IDARB: Tightwad Edition. This re-release contains the regular version of the game as well as the Walking Dead / Invincible and Masters of the Universe Expansion Packs. Here’s the official description:You can now battle everything from Moustache Cops and Breakfast to the Heroes of Eternia and the Walking Dead, all for a super low price that even Skeletor would consider paying. The #IDARB: Tightwad Edition is currently selling with a 50% discount for a limited time, which is probably what inspired the new title.

The next re-release is The BunnyLord Pro Hater Pack which contains two full games, Olli Olli 2: XL Edition and Not A Hero: Super Snazzy Edition (a re-release within a re-release). Also out today is Tropico 5 – Penultimate Edition which includes the regular version of Tropico 5 but also comes with The Big Cheese and Hostile Takeover add-ons and several maps that are exclusive to the Xbox One version.

The final Xbox One video game with a new sparkly edition is, Overwatch: Origins Edition.
