About a month ago, Microsoft announced that it had acquired the live streaming service, Beam. At the time, Microsoft highlighted that the acquisition displayed their commitment to making Xbox Live more social and fun, and bringing watching games and playing games closer together. Now Beam has announced via Twitter that the service will be coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 this winter.

As seen above, the company Tweeted out a winter launch timeline. The timeline is rather vague, and no other details are available at the time. The company, however, notedin a second tweetthat more details will be out soon and that support for low latency playback of all streams is in the pipeline for Xbox.
In case you did not already know, Beam is best known for giving viewers the ability to watch and play games along with their favorite game streamers in real-time, regardless of the platform. Using low latency technology, Beam also makes interactivity easy and is designed to work for any game.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
