Street Fighter 6 is on the way, with a whole new cast of characters for players to master. Street Fighter 6 characters will consist of both veterans from prior games as well as first-timers new to the franchise. As characters are revealed, we’re adding them to the list here.
Before diving into this list, we’d like to point out this list is forofficiallyconfirmed characters. While massive parts of the roster forStreet Fighter 6have been credibly leaked (something amusingly acknowledged by Capcom), we’re sticking to those characters that have been officially confirmed by Capcom, just to be consistent.Capcom has also confirmed that there will be a total of 18 characters at the launch of Street Fighter 6. Naturally, this list will grow beyond launch with DLC additions.
Street Fighter 6 characters: Blanka
Despite his large frame and feral appearance, Blanka is overall a pretty nice guy, especially considering how rough his life has been. With deep green skin and bright, wild hair, Blanka spends his time caring for his mother and leading groups as a tour guide in his home country of Brazil.

Street Fighter 6 characters: Cammy
While details are scarce, Cammy is officially confirmed as a launch character.
Street Fighter 6 characters: Chun-Li
One of the most iconic characters in the franchise, Chun-li is a former Interpol agent. She was first drawn in seeking revenge for the death of her father, who was killed by M. Bison. As of Street Fighter 6, she’s retired from fighting crime and now teaches Kung Fu classes.

Street Fighter 6 characters: Dee Jay
Dee Jay is confirmed by Capcom to be part of the launch roster.
Street Fighter 6 characters: Dhalsim
As a humble yoga master, Dhalsim has gained strange abilities such as the ability to stretch his body and control fire. He refuses to fight more than is required by a situation and will not kill his opponent, no matter what.

Street Fighter 6 characters: E. Honda
A large Sumo wrestler, Edmond Honda, or E. Honda, proudly travels the world trying to promote his sport. A man known for valuing tradition and honor, he’s also a skilled chef.

Street Fighter 6 characters: Guile
A major in the U.S. Air Force, Guile’s goal for a long time was to defeat the criminal organization Shadaloo and avenge his friend Charlie Nash. With that accomplished, it’s unclear just what awaits him.

Street Fighter 6 characters: Jamie
A newcomer to the series, Jamie specializes in drunken boxing, keeping peace on the streets and defending his hometown. He’s also an expert dancer, who values close friendship.

A new character confirmed to be in the launch lineup.
Street Fighter 6 characters: Juri
More recent than some of the iconic characters in Street Fighter history, Juri (more than any other fighter) thrives simply on the act of fighting itself. While not pure evil, this femme fatale lives to fight, gaining pleasure from inflicting pain in others.

Street Fighter 6 characters: Ken
As one of the two original protagonists of Street Fighter, Ken Masters is currently at a low point, as he’s been accused of putting together a criminal plot. As a result, he’s on the run and has left behind his family and business.

Street Fighter 6 characters: Kimberly
A newcomer to Street Fighter 6, Kimberly is a young ninja. She’s obsessed with 80’s pop culture, and is also fond of street art.

Another character making her debut in Street Fighter 6 at launch.
Street Fighter 6 characters: Luke
The last fighter added to Street Fighter 5 in DLC, Luke is a former mercenary who now teaches mixed martial arts. In his spare time, he eats junk food and plays video games.

Street Fighter 6 characters: Manon
Yet another new character who’ll be present at the launch of Street Fighter 6.
Street Fighter 6 characters: Marisa
Another new character, Marisa is confirmed to be in the game on launch day.
Street Fighter 6 characters: Ryu
Another of the iconic characters in Street Fighter history, Ryu is best friends with his rival, Ken Masters. Ryu has overcome the Satsui No Hadu, which threatened to corrupt him and turn him into Dark Ryu.

Street Fighter 6 characters: Zangief
Zangief is confirmed to return, and he’ll be in Street Fighter 6 on day one.

There’s no doubt that more characters are on the way, and we’ll be keeping this list updated as time goes on. Based on what we’ve seen so far, Street Fighter 6 has everything it’ll take to be one of thebest gamesfor fighting veterans and newcomers alike.
Street Fighter 6 is currently slated to launch at some point in 2023 forXbox Series X,Xbox Series S,PS5, PS4, and PC.
