As seen above, news on the availability of the free shows was first spread on The Flash’s Twitter account. Moreover, an updated app description for theiOS version of the CW appdetails that all the latest episodes of CW’s primetime shows will be available from the app on demand without a cable login starting next week. It is still not clear, however, if fans will also be able to stream or access older seasons from the app.
The CW App, nonetheless, is available on virtually every platform, including Xbox One, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, Android, Chromecast, and Roku. Fans located outside the United States, though, appear to be out of luck, as IDigitalTimes notes that they may be greeted with a ‘content unavailable’ message when trying to access the app.
