TheSurface Slim Pen 2has a flat design to fit well in hand and a haptic engine to simulate the feel of writing on paper. What it hasn’t had, until now, was official replacement tips. That’s since changed, as you can buy tips for the Surface Slim Pen 2 through the Microsoft Store.

“Keep extra pen tips handy when you need them with Surface Slim Pen 2 Tips. Designed and made by Microsoft to work perfectly with Surface Slim Pen 2,” reads the product’s listing. The page notes that the tips are sold in packs of three, but you can also get a pack of 80 if you’re a business customer.

When the Slim Pen 2 launched, customers expressed concern that the tip would wear down.Reddit usersand others online pointed out that tips weren’t available from Microsoft. Until recently, people had to resort to third parties to find replacements. A Microsoft employee in ananswer forumrecently shared that new tips could be purchased through the Microsoft Store.

The Surface Slim Pen 2 can pair with theSurface Pro 8,Surface Laptop Studio, Surface Pro X, andSurface Duo 2. While the pen has a haptic engine to simulate the feel of drawing or writing on paper, your device needs to support the feature. The Pro 8 and Laptop Studio support haptic feedback when running Windows 11.

You can now order replacement tips for the Surface Slim Pen 2. General users can get packs of three, while business customers can order packs of 80.
