A week ago, we reported that first-person puzzle game The Witnesscould be heading to the Xbox Oneafter being rated by both the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) and the Pan European Game Information Board (PEGI). This Xbox One release is now confirmed as indie game developer Jonathan Blow toldIGNyesterday that the game will be available on the Xbox Store on September 13th.
The Witness was previously released on PS4 and Windows in January to critical acclaim, and Blow shared that the Xbox One version will be very similar. “There are some technical differences, but it’s basically the same game,” he explained. Moreover, the game developer added that there won’t be any exclusive content in the Xbox One version to as he feels that it “would kind of… mess up the game.”
Lastly, an iOS version of the game is still in the pipeline though Blow didn’t shared a release date to IGN. “It’s such a lower-end platform and we have to redo a ton of stuff,” he added.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
