Information management solution Veritas Technologies has signed up a multi-year partnership with Microsoft to improve Azure optimization for businesses and organizational use. Theannouncement, through the Veritas web page, expresses the partnership is just a commodity after a long and beneficial relationship with Microsoft.
Veritas has been peddling Microsoft Azure as an information management solution, selling the cloud storage to their customers. “Microsoft and Veritas customers have enjoyed the benefits of highly complementary technology offerings, focused on solving IT challenges in the data center,” said Jason Zander from the Azure team explained in the press release.
As part of the new collaboration, Veritas will be including Azure in their NetBackup 8.0 premium solution. It includes storage tiering with Azure, improved data lifecycle with Azure cloud storage, and lower costs ideal for their medium to small business customers. Of course, the Veritas Backup Exec 16 package also comes with similar benefits of Azure cloud computing with the seamless transfer of information provided.
It’s safe to say that the partnership between Veritas and Microsoft will make cloud computing and information management in Azure a much more accessible option for organizations. You can read more about Veritashttps://www.veritas.com/solution/microsoft-cloud.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
