I know that the title of this article might sound a little “dumb” for some, but you get the point – which is the Windows 8 tablet that provides a good, if not the best sunlight readability option? Let’s have a look.This has been a concern that many tablet users have been facing for always – be it with the iPad, an Android or a Windows tablet. While the use of the best tablets aroundunder direct sunlightis manageable and you can understand what’s shown on the display, you obviously want to know what is the best one to use when exposed to sunlight. Of course, if you’re going to use it at noon, then there are chances you will have more problems than during the day.

Best Windows 8 tablet to be used under sunlight
What you need to look for when buying a new tablet is to make sure that it has a big brightness. This is measured in cd per m2. The pixel resolution and pixel per inch density are great feats, of course, but if you are lacking good brightness, then you will most likely be able to enjoy that great display only indoors or when there isn’t too much light outside.
While it’s pretty hard to say which Windows 8 tablets have the best displays to be used under direct sunlight, since there are more things you need to consider besides brightness, such as display performance in ambient light, reflections, display white spectrum; we have analyzed multiple reviews done by UMC Portal website and reputed DisplayMate firm.
First of all, you should know that sunlight readability on LCD panels is generally poor, but the latest 64-bit BayTrail Windows 8.1 tablets have managed to perform quite well. So, if you are looking to buy a Windows 8.1 tablet and you need to make sure it has a manageable display when exposed to the sun, you will be fine with aToshiba Encore, Dell Venue 8 Pro or the Lenovo ThinkPad 8. TheLumia 2520has a much better display, especially created for outdoor use, but, well, it runs Windows RT.
