In a new blog postthat reveals lots of new information on the company’s numbers for Windows, Xbox, Windows Store, and more, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President for Windows and devices Yusuf Mehdi has confirmedwhat we exclusively told you last week, that Microsoft now has “more that 200 million monthly active devices around the world running Windows 10.” This figure includes the Xbox One.

More than 40% of those devices became active since Black Friday on November 29th, raising US retail PC share for Windows 10 by 16 points to 62%, and the number of sales of Windows 10 machines over the holiday season has also been impressive, with some 87% of PCs sold coming installed with Windows 10, versus only 58% before the holidays.

Demand for Windows 10 has also been picking up in both enterprise and education. According to the blog post, 76% of Microsoft’s enterprise customers are in active pilot programs for Windows 10, and the number of installs for enterprise and education has reached 22 million. Mehdi also offered some “fun facts” on Windows 10 usage:

All in all, quite an impressive set of numbers, setting up 2016 as an even bigger year for Microsoft and Windows 10
