This past week, Microsoft held the Ignite conference in Chicago and we were live at the event. Microsoft showcased several key features of Windows 10 during the event, including Windows Hello and Continuum. Let’s quickly recap these two important features that are set to arrive in Windows 10.

Microsoft has been beefing up Windows 10 with enterprise-grade security, making sure that both consumers and enterprises are always protected from threats. The software giant also introduced Windows Hello earlier this year in an effort to let users seamlessly, and securely log in to their PCs utilizing either fingerprints, facial recognition, or iris. Continuum is the notion that one computing experience is continued regardless of the device used or the location. It allows for a consistent user interface, a familiar style of operation for the user to become accustomed to. This is a new feature set to arrive with Windows 10. The idea being Continuum is simple — consumers should be able to easily transform their use of a device into mobile scenarios that give up no compromises in their use of input devices or screen size. Basically, connecting a Windows 10 mobile device to a larger screen allows you to utilize your phone as a PC.
