As we inch closer to the July 29th release date for Windows 10, a new build has been shown off on the internet courtesy of Wzor. Judging from theleaked screenshots, Windows 10 build 10163 appears to be another build focused on bug fixes and improvements under the hood.
Last week, Microsoft rolled out three newWindows 10desktop builds (yes, three!), including Windows 10 build 10162 which features bug fixes and better reliability, performance, battery life, and compatibility. Build 10162 is currently the latest build available via the Windows Insider Program.
Keep in mind that as we approach the July 29th release date, any new build for Windows 10 will feature fixes and refinements, rather than new features or visual changes. Take a look at some of the screenshots of build 10163 below and keep in mind that it looks very similar, if not identical, to build 10162.
According to theleaked release notesfor build 10163, there are no new software updates in this build. Instead this build focuses on bug fixes and also features new issues (for example, after upgrading to Windows 10 Insider Preview, some apps cannot be launched after you log on for the first time, rather, you will need to reboot and log on again for them to work).
Microsoft still has their work cut out for them and we hope to see a completed product before the July 29th release date. How do you feel about Microsoft’s progress so far when it comes to Windows 10? Were any of your feedback suggestions implemented?
