Microsoft earlier today released a brand new preview build for Windows Technical Users which includes a number of new features and enhancements. We’ve compiled a quick video demonstrating the most noticeable new changes within the build, including the Notification Center, new window animations, zPC Settings and more.

The build released today is 9860, which was compiled on October 8th and is a pre-release development build meaning it’s rather buggy and not intended for production use. Data Sense and Battery Saver are new in this build, as well as the features listed above. References are being found to the Continuum UI which was shown off via Microsoft as a concept last September.

Still no Cortana in this build sadly. We’re not sure when Microsoft is planning to push out a build with Cortana enabled, we doubt it’ll be anytime soon sadly. Make sure you watch our video below demonstrating all the new features available in this new build!
