Just a few months ago at BUILD 2016, Phil Spencer revealed some new and exciting updates for PC gamers on the Universal Windows Platform on Windows 10. Today, Microsofthas announcedthat those updates are now going live for developers who have games in the Windows Store.
Overall, the updates will roll out the ability for PC gamers to disable V-Sync and also add in support for NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync. Additionally, the update also adds in the ability for unlocked framerate refresh for UWP games. It will, however, be up to the developer to release an update for their respected games in order to integrate today’s UWP updates.
For PC gamers, the updates mean that UWP games will now support these technologies just as Win 32 games currently can. The support for unlocked frame rate, and the NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync, meanwhile will eliminate lag, screen tearing, and stutter.
FromGears of War: Ultimate Edition,Rise of the Tomb Raider,Quantum Break, andForza Motorsport 6: Apex, there are already many UWP games in the Windows Store. Microsoft is clearly slowly proving that Windows 10 will soon be the place to game.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
