Microsoft has started pushing its secondRedstone 2 Windows 10 build 14905 to Insiders. The latest build is currently available to all Insiders on the Fast ring, and includes numerous system improvements and bug fixes, but no notable new features.

Windows 10 build 14905 is also the first Redstone 2 build available to Windows 10 Mobile Insiders. The previousbuild 14901was pushed to PCs only, becausethe Anniversary Updatewasn’t available onWindows 10 Mobileat the time of its release. But now, as the Anniversary Update is available on all Windows 10-powered devices, all Insiders can start testing Redstone 2 releases.

Since build 14905 is among the earliest Redstone 2 builds for Windows 10 Preview, it doesn’t contain any new features, but only system enhancements. Additionally, Microsoft continued to work on the common shared Windows 10 core for all versions of the system,OneCore, as the company aims to bring even better integration between its platform with the next major update for Windows 10.

As for the additions, build 14905 actually brought a new sound set for Windows 10 Mobile. Insiders running this build are now able to experiment with more sound schemes on their devices. No new features for Windows 10 build for PCs.

As we said, the new build brought a lot of improvements for both platform. Here they are:
