Microsoft hasrolled outanother Windows 11 preview build for Insiders in the Dev and Beta Channel today, this time featuring more fixes and enhancements, as well as the removal of some System Tray improvements. This build reverts the System Tray to how it is on the public version ofWindows 11, meaning the highlight consistency improvements have been removed.

Microsoft says it’s doing this in response to feedback from Insiders, likely those who were unhappy that the new System Tray removed the ability to drag and drop icons on and off the Taskbar. With the System Tray reverting, the ability to drag and drop icons is back. Hopefully, Microsoft is able to figure out how to keep drag and drop and make the highlight effects for icons consistent in the future.
