Xbox Fitness has added a new Mossa workout

Microsoft has just added a new Mossa workout to Xbox Fitness, Mossa Fight 3. The Mossa series of workouts on the fitness/health Xbox One app are exclusively produced by Microsoft for the Xbox Fitness service. The Mossa Fight programs are based on mixed martial arts training and kickboxing for an intense cardio workout. This third entry in the series really kicks things up a notch and incorporates high jumps and kicks with a much faster pace than the previous Mossa Fight 1 and 2.

Other Mossa exercise programs on Xbox Fitness include Mossa Groove (a dance cardio class), Mossa Abs 1 and 2 (for abdominal workouts), and Mossa Power 1 and 2 (weight training). All of the Mossa workouts are completely free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers and can beused with or without Kinect thanks to the recent update that added the ability for Xbox One owners to use Xbox Fitness as more of an exercise video player without the body tracking and pulse detecting interactivity of the usual Kinect mode.

To promote the launch of Mossa Fight 3 on Xbox Fitness, a special Xbox Achievement has been created which will award those who use the program three times during the month of January with in-game FitPoints which will help level them up. Several other special Xbox Achievements are also running this month to encourage Xbox Fitness users to use the Athlete Fit and special Xbox Fitness version of Insanity programs as well. Insanity for Xbox Fitness was sold for a discounted, though still quite expensive, price a few weeks ago as part ofa special Xbox game salethat discounted numerous titles and add-ons.
